Transition 2020

Welcome to St Andrew’s CE Primary School & Nursery. We provide a calm, carefully structured environment which fosters positive attitudes to learning, with children enjoying challenging targets and taking pride in their achievements.

Our school philosophy actively encourages the development of high self-esteem by recognising strengths and encouraging all children to develop into confident, independent learners. The children play an active role in the smooth running of the school.

Parents, governors, staff and Trust work closely together in a supportive environment to enable pupils to flourish. Collaborative learning is important to us, and we see our links with the whole school community and partner schools as essential to our future development.

I am extremely proud to be the Head Teacher of St Andrew’s and very fortunate to work with supportive parents and governors, fantastic children and a talented staff.

Due to restrictions caused by recent coronavirus guidance, we are unable to invite parents into school for a meeting prior to the children starting in September. We will endeavour to organise an alternative arrangement as soon as we can.

In the meantime, please find enclosed the documents required for your child’s admission and transition into our school.

Yours sincerely

Mrs. J A Rainford
