This week, Year 4 visited the Jorvik Viking Centre and the Dig Site to explore more about the Vikings. The day included a ride through the Viking streets of York, where they were immersed into life as a Viking, including lots of funky smells and interesting facts.
The children also became archaeologists and explored their very own dig site, discovering lots of artefacts from across the ages. All the children had a great day and represented school wonderfully!
