At St Andrew’s C.E. Primary School and Nursery, we believe in the right of all pupils to a broad and balanced curriculum and, to that end, all pupils have an entitlement to participate in the full range of the curriculum, including the National Curriculum and Foundation Stage Guidance.
“The special educational needs coordinator makes sure that the achievement of groups or individual pupils with special educational needs is tracked carefully and that such pupils receive good quality support during or outside lessons, leading to their good progress. Pupils who are disabled or who have special educational needs are fully involved and encouraged to participate in all activities. Disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs benefit from good pastoral care and make good progress from their individual starting points. This is because teachers and teaching assistants have a thorough understanding of their needs, and pupils are effectively supported by well-planned teaching that promotes their good learning and progress.”OFSTED, 2014

INCLUSION MANAGER PARENT DROP-IN SESSION
Mr Lynch, our Inclusion Manager, operates a parent drop in session on a Monday morning from 8.15-9.30am.
Due to his teaching commitments it is sometimes difficult to see parents in the morning on other days, therefore the drop-in session provides quality time set aside each week. Appointments are available with Mr Lynch in 15 minute slots.
