Yesterday Reception had a visit from the fire service. As well as putting out fires, we also learnt that they attend road accidents to rescue people, help with floods and rescue stuck cats! The children loved seeing the fire engine and had opportunities to explore everything in it. We saw the hose working, the blue lights and we all covered our ears for the siren!
