Today, we welcomed pupils from each of our six Watergrove Trust primary schools for an insightful Food for Thought Summit. Pupils enjoyed eating their lunch together, meeting children from other schools and discussing fascinating topics.
Food for Thought invites children to discuss deep, philosophical ideas in a fun and open environment. Today’s thought provoking questions included ‘Is it okay to believe something different to your friends?’ and ‘What is more important: being kind or being honest?’

After discussing the idea with other pupils and members of staff, pupils then wrote their ideas down and stuck them on the board. A wide range of views, ideas and opinions were showcased during the discussions.
There were even some delicious cakes to end the session!
It was really wonderful to see pupils from across the Trust primary schools coming together and connecting over some fascinating topics.
