Congratulations to our Year 4 pupil Alice who has had a wave of recent football success! Most recently, Alice was awarded Player of the Match by her team Ryburn Women Under 9’s. She was selected for the award for her great defensive performance in their recent victory in the local derby match. 

Last season, Alice won Most Improved Player of the Season and is already progressing further every single week. Her ability to read the game and use positional play is developing really well, an essential skill set for her defensive role in the team. So far, Alice and the team have played 12 games, won an impressive 10 games and lost just 2 games. 

Alice has certainly proven herself as a standout player in her team! We can’t wait to hear all about your sporting achievements in future. Well done!
